• University of Portland Chooses GroupDrive
  South River Technologies, Inc., an innovator in secure file transfer and collaboration software, today announced that its GroupDrive software has been licensed to the University of Portland. With the campus wide installation of GroupDrive complete, students and faculty recently began securely collaborating and sharing files over the Internet, eliminating the need to use traditional forms of unsecured and inefficient file transfer such as email.
• South River Technologies Launches Titan FTP Server Version 6.0
  South River Technologies today announced the availability of its Titan FTP Server 6.0, an enterprise class storage server that allows secure file management and document transfer.

  South River Technologies announced that it has released French Language versions of its popular WebDrive product. WebDrive is a desktop client that connects a Windows drive letter to a server on the Internet.   Apple's iDisk online storage service allows users to store, share, transfer and back up important files. Using WebDrive to connect to their iDisk enables users to access files and folders through a virtual drive while working on a Windows platform. Accessing iDisk files with WebDrive is as easy as accessing files stored on the local PC.
• SRT Implements New Technology in WebDrive 7.0
  The new WebDrive version includes streaming, making it the only remote access client that maps a drive to servers on the Internet and streams A/V files to the desktop. With a simple double click of a file, users can play large videos or MP3 files within seconds, making the performance similar to opening a file on the user's PC.

  South River Technologies announced today that it has launched the GroupDrive.net hosted file collaboration service. GroupDrive.net is a business class hosted service for securely collaborating on files from multiple locations. Files are stored on the GroupDrive.net server, ensuring that users always have the most current version of a file.
• South River Technologies Partners with WebSafe, Inc.
  South River Technologies (SRT) announced today that it has entered into a Reseller Channel partnership with U.S. based WebSafe, Inc. to distribute SRT's WebDrive software product. WebDrive creates a virtual drive allowing users to securely access remote files as if they were on their local computer.
• SRT Inks OEM Deal with Macroview Telecom Limited
  South River Technologies (SRT) announced today that it has entered into an OEM partnership with China based Macroview Telecom Limited to license its WebDrive product. WebDrive allows users to securely access remote files through a virtual hard drive.
• Emory University Adds File Sharing with WebDrive FTP Client
  Emory University, located in Atlanta, GA, has more than 11,000 students and more than 2,500 faculty members. Each year their goal is to provide each student with the tools necessary to "transform the world." Emory wanted to provide its students with a solution enabling the management of home web pages, group file sharing and storage capabilities.

• WebDrive FTP Client Helping Police Keep Streets Safe
  The Coon Rapids Police Department handles over 50,000 emergency calls per year. Fielding a large amount of calls means the generation of many incident reports by responding officers. The department needed a solution allowing officers to file reports with the station without leaving their patrols. The department determined that WebDrive was the right solution for electronically submitting reports from within patrol cars.
